What is included in the WordPress service
The proposal identifies the content planning, design, build and launch tasks for your website. Copywriting, photography, existing content migration and integrations are included only where specified.
Content-first planning
We map services, project examples and supporting information to pages. You confirm the business details, supply or approve the copy and images, and identify who can sign off the content. The website project preparation checklist lists the material to gather.
Custom build
The build uses the agreed page layouts and content blocks. Plugin selection considers the required function, compatibility and maintenance responsibilities. Any licensed themes, plugins or external services are identified in the project scope.
Launch readiness
Before the website goes live, I review forms, navigation, image sizes and key SEO settings. Existing pages and redirects are checked where a site is being replaced. You receive a practical handover on editing content and managing the site, with hosting and maintenance responsibilities agreed clearly.
WooCommerce websites and course booking
WooCommerce adds ecommerce functions to WordPress. A project may involve products, course dates, booking information and payment-provider setup, depending on the agreed requirements and selected extensions.
The Oracle Training Consultants project uses WordPress and WooCommerce for separate learner and employer information routes and online short-course booking. The case study describes those pages and booking routes.
For a course booking website, we first define what a booking represents: a place on a specific date, an enquiry, or another arrangement. Capacity, attendee details, cancellations and any connection to an existing training system need explicit scope. A WooCommerce build does not automatically include a learning management system or every booking workflow.

Design & content
I develop the visual direction alongside the copy and page structure. You review the templates with representative content, including service explanations and calls to action. We record any changes before building the remaining pages.
Build & refine
I build the agreed WordPress templates, configure the selected plugins and assemble the pages. Review covers the agreed visitor journeys and editing tasks, including mobile layouts, forms and navigation.
Launch & handover
We complete the launch checks, confirm domain and hosting access and publish the website. I show you how to edit the content you are likely to change regularly, such as services, images and articles. Any ongoing responsibility for backups, updates and technical support is agreed at handover.
